Rise Casino Review

We really don’t have much to say about this online casino site. As far as dedicated slot platforms go, Rise Casino is neither good nor bad which simply means that it will not be the first stop for new players and it definitely won’t be the last.

We were intrigued. That’s what started this entire casino review. I mean; Rise casino? What is that supposed to mean? What kind of casino is Rise Casino and what exactly is supposed to be rising? We were secretly hoping it would be jackpots and our winnings. So we decided to put the platform (and its name) to the test. Read on to see whether this online casino rose to the occasion in our official Rise Casino review.

Rise Casino Bonuses and Promotions

We finally found a platform with a welcome bonus we can get 100% on board with. After the usual first deposit of a minimum £10, a new player can claim their welcome bonus consisting of 25 free spins. Although some T’s and C’s apply such as the fact that all unused free spins will expire after 7 days and that bonus funds are subject to a 40x wagering requirement, new players can still use their free spins on ANY game of their choice. The only problem we could fin with the platform in terms of bonus and promo offers is that there really aren’t many available. In fact, the only bonus/promo offer we could find other than the welcome bonus for new players was the promise of daily bonus free spins and monthly cashbacks. How, if, and when these specific bonus offers will be available remains unclear. Rise Casino does however promise to keep their players up to date regarding any bonus or promo offers via email.

How to Register a Casino Account at Rise Casino

We have gotten so used to the online casino registration norm of the button in the upper right corner and on the display banner that we actually did a double take when we couldn’t find either on the Rise Casino site. But the confusion was short-lived because the moment a player starts scrolling down the site, the ‘Join Now’ button appears in the upper right corner and a big, red ‘Join Now’ button is prominently displayed in the middle of the screen. We have been saying for years that registration on these online casinos takes only a couple of minutes. Rise Casino takes it a little further and actually proudly proclaims that opening an account on the site only takes two minutes. Registration goes along with the usual personal info such as name, email address and password.

Casino License

Rise Casino forms part of the infamous online gaming 888 Group. They are officially registered as Virtual Global Digital Services Limited in Gibraltar and 888 UK Limited for all gaming services within the UK.

The Casino Design

This is an odd site as far as design goes. It is incredibly busy, uses bold and bright colours and asymmetrical layouts are everywhere. It also keeps to the traditional online casino theme of bling with shiny gems and gold coins shooting out at you around every casino site bend and turn. This is not something that we are particularly drawn to, but that’s just personal preference. As far as navigation goes, the site is very easy to get around on and information and sections are clearly displayed. If a player is struggling to find something on this online casino site they probably shouldn’t even be attempting to use tech devices such as computers in our personal opinion.

Casino Games Available

Rise Casino is a dedicated slots site and boasts with over 300 slot games to choose from. As far as slot fan favourites go, they had all of ours; Lucky Lassie, Rise of Maya, Wolf Queen, Starburst and Super 7s. Many of the slot games not only come with the promise of big winnings, but also with the opportunity of a big jackpot slot win. Whatever the craving of a slots fan, Rise Casino can satisfy. But if a player has an appetite for online games such as table games or Bingo they will have to get their fill on another platform.

Rise Casino Live Casino

Live casino and live dealer games are currently not available on the Rise Casino site. But players who follow our reviews regularly will know that we don’t believe that it’s really necessary for online casino sites that mainly focuses on Bingo games or slots.

Game Providers

There are not a wide variety in terms of different types of games on Rise Casino since the site is mostly dedicated to slots and slot games. So it’s understandable that Rise Casino doesn’t boast with as many game providers as other online casinos with more extensive game libraries. Nonetheless, the platform still showcases slots and slot games from some of the most well-known software developers within the online gaming and gambling community.

These game providers include NetEnt, Evolution Gaming, Eyecon, IGT, Thunderkick and NYX. But if newbie slot players are hoping to filter or search slots via popular game providers they will be disappointed. There’s hardly any prominent mention regarding the names of the game creators on the site and players are left to their own devices to match the developer to the game based on their own personal knowledge and experience.

Loyalty Program/VIP

Rise Casino offers players a loyalty program in the form of the Rise Rewards Programme. This program promises players all kinds of perks and added bonuses although we couldn’t find any pertinent mention of detailed description on any of these. As is the case with a few past online casino reviews, we believe that players are approached and notified about reward program specific bonuses, promotions and other offers via email.

Deposit and Withdrawals Options

Rise Casino offers players multiple popular payment methods to choose from when it comes to making a deposit or a withdrawal. A deposit can be made via Credit & Debit Card, Visa, MasterCard, NETeller, Paypal or Paysafecard. A withdrawal of a player’s winnings can be made via Credit & Debit Card, MasterCard, NETeller, Paypal and Wire Transfer. Although any deposit a player makes ensures that the money is instantly available to play with, a withdrawal might take a few days depending on a player’s payment method preference. This withdrawal time of a player’s winnings can vary between 2 – 7 business days before the money reflects in a player’s bank account.

Although there is a withdrawal limit, it’s much better than the online casino industry average at a surprisingly low £5. As always we strongly advise players to thoroughly read through the T’s & C’s before committing to a platform and having to make a deposit or a withdrawal since we always find some limitation, restriction or wagering requirements when it comes to a deposit or a withdrawal. We immediately spotted that this was also the case with Rise Casino, as Rise proudly proclaims that they offer no wagering requirements game play, yet there are wagering requirements of up to 40x when it comes to things such as bonus funds. That’s why we believe it’s always better to be safe than sorry and not allow unexpected and sudden T’s & C’s by Rise Casino get a rise out of you.

Rise Casino Mobile Casino

Rise Casino does not offer their players a downloadable app, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t give their players the opportunity to play on the go. The Rise Casino website is 100% mobile compatible and can be played on all iOS and Android mobile devices.

Customer Support

Rise Casino promises to get any issues resolved quickly. Their helpful (pun not intended) ‘Help’ button remains constant and steadfast on the right side of the screen as a player scrolls through the site. But we were quite disappointed to find that once you click on the ‘Help’ button, it merely takes you to a vastly populated FAQ’s page. Although the FAQ page is quite extensive there is no mention of a direct contact method unless you sift through the various issues and departments within the FAQ content. Unlike most online casino sites (or websites in general if we want to be honest), Rise Casino doesn’t even have a ‘Contact Us’ option at the bottom of the site. Ironically it does have a dedicated tab for ‘Making a Complaint’.

Security to Protect Players

Rise Casino prominently addresses any security and safety concerns a new player on the platform might have and assures them that the safety and security of their players are paramount and that all payments and transactions are safe. Rise Casino’s licensing and registration in both the UK and Gibraltar makes them subject to both of their online gaming regulatory bodies; the Gibraltar Gaming Commissioner as well as the Gambling Commission of Great Britain. All software and games are also tested by the independent third party, eCOGRA to ensure safe and fair game play on the platform.Rise Casino has also partnered with many responsible gambling organisations in order to aid any players who might suspect that they may have a gambling problem. These organisations include BeGambleAware, GamStop and GamCare. When a player clicks on the Responsible Gambling tab at the bottom of the Rise Casino site it takes them to a dedicate page filled with valuable information, resources and tools in support of responsible gambling. This is also where a player is able to download certain website blocking software and set self-limits and self-exclusions.

Our Expert Conclusion

It’s always tough to review an online casino site that’s dedicated to specific games such as Bingo or slot games. It simply isn’t fair to compare these with some of the more comprehensive online casinos out there on the web. That being said, although the platform is fun and perfectly functional to play on once you’ve used your welcome bonus free spins, the site doesn’t quite compare even with their other dedicated casino slot peers. The slot library is big, but it’s not as big as most online slot sites.

The bonuses and promotions are not really something to write home about (well, the bonuses and promotions you even manage to find on the platform), and although Rise Casino has an extensive and one of the most helpful Responsible Gambling pages we’ve seen on an online casino, their customer support (or rather lack thereof) is thoroughly disappointing. So if a player was to ask us whether Rise Casino rose to the occasion in terms of this review, we’d probably have to shrug and answer with a “meh”. It’s not a bad online casino site, but it’s also not a great one. For all intensive casino review purposes, Rise Casino is fairly mediocre and we doubt that it will attract masses of new players or retain old ones.
